Ngoma Safari Lodge
Situated on the Chobe River, Ngoma Safari Lodge offers a smaller, intimate lodge experience.
With panoramic views of the Chobe River and the surrounding floodplains, Ngoma Safari Lodge provides guests with excellent game viewing opportunities. The lodge is on the western border of the Chobe National Park and has been built using natural materials to help it blend into the surroundings.
The lodge is smaller with only 8 suites. Each room comes with river views, is fully en-suite, has indoor and outdoor showers, and a pool to “refresh and relax” in. Two of the suites also come fitted with Indian Day beds that guests can relax on while enjoying the views. The lodge’s viewing deck that overlooks the floodlit watering hole is another great spot for taking in the scenery. Ngoma Lodge offers an array of activities including full-day land and water safaris, day and night game drives, and cultural tours to nearby local villages.
“A highlight of Ngoma Lodge is its position. It is on the western side of Chobe meaning it is removed from the bustle of the crowds in the park and in Kasane. The lodge is relatively easy to access; you can reach it by travelling through Chobe National Park or, if you don’t feel like maneuvering through park, there is a tar road that accesses the lodge.
Ngoma is perched on an escarpment and when arriving you are greeted with amazing views of the landscape that surrounds the lodge. The design feels contemporary and the suites and lodge’s main areas are light and spacious. The secluded position, privacy and views are some of the best aspects of staying at Ngoma. Another plus is that the sunsets truly are spectacular. Ngoma Safari Lodge offers great value as a property.”
