This is possibly our best Southern Africa tour itinerary. Our classic Southern Africa tour highlights three of Southern Africa’s great icons – the crashing waters of Victoria Falls, the unwinding and beautiful city of Cape Town, and Big-5 game viewing in the world renowned Kruger National Park.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - 3: Victoria Falls (Mosi-Oa-Tunya)

Depart on the mid-morning flight from Johannesburg which is a direct flight to Victoria Falls airport, after being greeted personally by the Safari365 representative you will be transferred to your lodging situated in close proximity to Victoria Falls.

A good night's rest under the African stars and a hearty breakfast is followed by a complimentary walking tour of the mighty Victoria Falls. Walking through the magnificent rain “spray” forest – is one of the best ways to experience Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

You'll have plenty of other interesting activities to choose from, including the iconic "Flight of Angels"  - a helicopter flip over the falls, white water rafting, game drives, bungee jumping, abseiling, cruises along the Zambezi River ( included in this tour) and even take in a cultural Mukuni Village tour, all of which can add up to three days in the iconic destination of Victoria Falls.

Day 3 - 7: Cape Town

After three glorious days at Victoria Falls, travel to the Victoria Falls Airport for a connecting flight to Cape Town on British Airways services.

On arrival in Cape Town, collect the rental car at Cape Town Airport and discover all that this exceptional cosmopolitan has to offer. No doubt, one of Africa's best destinations, Cape Town is framed by the majestic Table Mountain and framed by the blue waters of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans.

There are hundreds of  indulgent and interesting activities in the Mother City - including shopping at Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, a visit to Cape Point, taking a ride up Table Mountain, a boat ride to historic Robben Island, or a leisure walk on Camps Bay's gleaming white beaches. Alternatively, escape to the famed Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, or take a trip to the lush Cape Winelands - South Africa's largest wine producing region (situated less than an hour's drive from Cape Town), host to some of the world's finest wines.

Day 7 - 10 : Kruger National Park

After four magnificent days in Cape Town, fly to Kruger. After arrival, be transferred by a safari ranger to your private Kruger safari lodge as South Africa’s largest and most renowned game reserve, the Kruger National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife.

Your days will be spent on game drives and discovering the vast African bush on open Land Rovers, accompanied by experienced rangers. On the guided Kruger tour experience close encounters with the Big-5 (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo), as well as wild dog, cheetah, giraffe and a host of other colorful inhabitants. In addition, the reserve is also a birdwatcher's paradise - featuring over 350 species.

After three days of Kruger safari bliss, travel to Kruger Mpumalanga airport for your direct flight to Johannesburg and back home.
