Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - 4: Cape Town, South Africa

Upon arrival in Cape Town, a Safari365 representative will assist with the transfer to your Cape Town hotel. One of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the world, multi-faceted Cape Town offers diverse places of interest. Explore the City Centre and discover the city's many tourist attractions including trips up Table Mountain, visits to Robben Island, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, the Malay Quarter, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and the Two Oceans Aquarium.

Take a break from sightseeing and sunbathe on the popular white sand beaches of the Atlantic Seaboard, followed by taste tingling cocktails at one of the many beachside cafes. A tour to Cape Town wouldn't be complete without a drive to the scenic Cape Winelands - the largest wine producing region in South Africa. Explore the original cellars, dating back to the first farmers in the Cape, sample world-class wines and learn about the intricate processes involved in their production.

Please note: A dedicated consultant will assist in booking tours of the city and surrounds, and reserving tables at Cape Town's finest restaurants.

Day 4 - 6: Rovos Rail to Pretoria

Board the luxurious Rovos Rail at the Cape Town station for your two-night rail journey to Pretoria. As you step aboard the elegant ‘Pride of Africa', observe the wood-panelled coaches, which have been beautifully remodelled and refurbished to mint condition. Your memorable journey begins as the train meanders slowly through the scenic Cape Winelands and on to the quaint Karoo town of Matjiesfontein. Disembark for a leisurely stroll through this historic settlement and visit the Town's museum. The journey continues until Kimberley, for a tour of Kimberley's ‘Big Hole' and the Diamond Mine Museum. On the final day of the luxurious rail journey, the train will pass through Krugersdorp, Johannesburg and Germiston, en-route to Pretoria.

Day 6 - 9 : Kruger National Park

On arrival in Pretoria, a Safari365 representative will transfer you to Johannesburg airport for the direct flight to the exclusive Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. Sharing an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Reserve is the oldest private reserve in South Africa. Home to a vast wildlife population, days on safari will be spent tracking the Big-5 (rhino, lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo), as well as a number of endangered species on game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles. After 3 days on safari, depart the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve and return to Johannesburg International Airport for the connecting flight home.
