Our 6 week African Safari far exceeded our expectations and in more ways than words could express!
This is an independent review by Cheryl From Australia who traveled to Botswana, Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Namibia in August 2015.

Firstly, Anne and I highly recommend Safari365 Africa as the company to organise your African safari adventure. We travelled to Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Namibia and loved the experience so much. We wish we could do it all over again! There were so many highlights it's impossible to pick one as the favourite.
We loved all the accommodation where we stayed, especially the tented camps. Everywhere we stayed, the staff, guides, drivers, were all so lovely and friendly.
We never tired of the game drives. Spending 3 days at some of the camps gave us the opportunity to do 6 game drives at each. During the times when we weren't doing a game drive we missed them.
We saw plenty elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions, lionesses and cubs, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, black rhinos, white rhinos, impala, springbok, oryx, elands, jackals, hyenas, kadus, hartbeasts, dikdiks, etc, etc, etc, plus a beautiful array of birdlife. Magnificent!
We can highly recommend the following:
Botswana: Pom Pom Camp at Okavango Delta and Planet Baobab in Makgadikadi. We enjoyed overnight quad biking to the Salt Pans and sleeping under the stars. Seeing the meerkats of the Kalahari was another fond memory. Chobe Bakwena Lodge and the Chobe National Park for the elephant's remarkable river crossing. Pangolin Photo Safari cruise on the Chobe River.
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe: Victoria Falls Safari Hotel, helicopter flight over the Falls as well as guided walks. Not to mention an elephant back safari!
Kenya: Giraffe Manor and a visit to Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphange in Nairobi - highly recommended. Ol Tukai Lodge in Amboseli National Park - Amazing! Lake Nakuru and Lodia House; Ilkeliani Camp in the Masai Mara Reserve, and the Masai Mara Village - great dancing with the warriors!
Tanzania: Nasikia Mobile Camp in the Serengeti – wildebeest everywhere and witnessed an excellent river crossing. Pakulala Safari Camp at Ngorogoro Crater - spectacular landscape and had a superb game drive watching a herd of hippos playing in a waterhole.
Zanzibar: Jafferji House at Old Stone Town - a great historical town to visit. Z Hotel - at the tip of the island - Magnificent stay and truly enjoyed our 3 days of R ‘n R.
Namibia: Sossusvlei Lodge and the game drives into the sand dunes – absolutely fantastic! Swakopmund Guesthouse – dazzling. Walvis Bay & the flamingoes - simply stunning. Mountain Mowani Camp in Damaraland - an absolute favourite camp set amongst the huge boulders in the mountain. Taleni Etosha Village - our last game drive was in Etosha National Park and the perfect one to end our trip. The highlight was watching a large herd of elephants with their babies at a waterhole for over an hour.
We hope our review is helpful to anyone thinking of planning a trip through Safari365 Africa. We loved Africa so much we are planning to go back in a couple of years for a holiday in South Africa. We will be contacting Karen to help us with the planning.
