Nadine Jansen van Rensburg
Nadine has experienced life in a number of cities across the globe. Originally from Leipzig, Germany where she studied Hotel Management, Nadine moved to the UK in 2003 where she met her South African husband. In 2009, they packed their bags and moved to South Africa. Today, she lives with her family near the beautiful beaches of Cape Town.
Before joining the Safari365 team, Nadine took on a number of career challenges from working in the hotel industry for 11 years to working in property management. After arriving in South Africa, Nadine expanded her repertoire to include the travel industry. While working for an East African Destinations Management Company, Nadine fell in love with East Africa with the Serengeti, Tarangire National Park, the Masai Mara, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar coming to feel like a third home.
The Serengeti in the off season when it is just you, your guide, the wildlife and this vast, ever changing landscape. The south is completely different to the north and when you fly from the northern Serengeti to Arusha or Zanzibar the landscape is just out of this world with the still active volcano called "Ol Doinyo Lengai" which means "mountain of god" to the Maasai people.
Most Treasured Travel Experience
A walking safari in Tarangire National Park.
What a treat! It is a chance to see all the little things that you won't notice from inside a car. Nadine and her group came across an elephant scull, termite hills, zebras, elephants in the distance, a giraffe skeleton. The guide was phenomenal in explaining all there was to know. Nadine can highly recommend getting out of the car and taking a walk on the wild side!
