Liam Collins was born in the amazing city of Cape Town. He then moved to Johannesburg where he spent many years completing his schooling and degree in psychology and anthropology. His other interests saw him become a certified football coach for South Africa (SAFA), as well as complete his grades in music which is one of his greatest passions. There has always been a travel bug in Liam which saw him travel across South Africa and neighboring countries as well as further abroad to Germany and France before eventually settling in England. Although all these countries were truly amazing there was something about Africa that kept calling him back. Africa offers the greatest scenery and wildlife, it is enshrouded with such culture and diversity and, for Liam, it is one of greatest places on earth.
Lesotho - Went traveling to Oxbow in the winter session. There is a hotel there called AfriSki which is 3222m up in the mountains. Liam learned to snowboard and ski and right on top of the mountain there was a frozen lake were you could skate and play ice hockey. Truly an unforgettable place.
Most Treasured Travel Experience:
While taking a road trip to Durban, Liam stopped at Oribi Gorge and did the largest swing in Africa, which saw him jump off the edge of a waterfall and plummet into the 55-storey deep gorge. The free-fall was awesome and during the fall you can accelerate up to the astounding speed of 120km/hour in 2.5 seconds. The experience was totally unplanned and it is a memory that Liam will never forget.
