Karen Peasley – Safari365 Australian Representative and Senior Travel Specialist
Born and raised in Johannesburg, Karen’s thirst for exploring new destinations was set in train from an early age. After completing her education she developed a keen interest in travel, and set off to work in Lesotho & Swaziland, and later travelled extensively through Europe. Karen’s continued desire to travel brought her to Australia where she later settled. With Africa in her blood, she has found it difficult to stay away from the continent and has travelled throughout Southern & East Africa. By combining her love for, and depth of knowledge on all things African, with her vast experience in Sales & Marketing, Karen adds great depth to the Safari365 team.

Karen’s Most Treasured Travel Experience:
Waking up at dawn to watch the sun rise over the rim of Ngorongoro Crater from my balcony in the hotel room, then followed with a day viewing up close, a complete "smorgasboard" of game in the Crater. Took a hundred photos but nothing could recreate the experience.

The food was fabulous at the Intrepids camp. Next the Karen Blixen Camp in the Masai Mara.…
An absolutely fantastic trip!
Their hospitality, service and attention to detail was fantastic and the resort as a whole was very intimate and an experience not to be forgotten. Hosts Linda and Cliff were delightful but we took an extra special liking to our tour guides Rams and Lake who went over and above what was expected.

Lines of animals from one horizon to the other. We also saw a lion hunt/kill almost upon arrival. Cats abounded throughout and we saw litters of…
We enjoyed all of our tours!

The family chalet was large and clean, and had a nice view off the deck. The food was spectacular, and the safari drives were all we were hoping for and more. We saw the Big 5 two out of three…
