A Night Under the Stars: Galileo Season 7 Launch
It was a cool October evening in Cape Town. The sun was beginning to dip below the craggy tops of the Table Mountain mountain range and excited chatter bubbled up as the crowds began to arrive at Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden.
Golden lights twinkled above bustling food stalls, people laid out blankets, set up picnics, and strolled across the lawn which was acting as a makeshift open air cinema. As the sun officially set, the sold out audience took their seats with great anticipation as the opening credits of classic flick Dirty Dancing flashed across the huge screen. We were all ready for a night under the stars at the Galileo.
On Wednesday, 17 October, Safari365 attended the official launch of the Galileo Open Air Cinema’s 7th season.
