Industry Affiliations and Accreditations

We realize that booking a vacation via an internationally based business can be a daunting undertaking. Whilst we believe that our clients book with us due to the superior service, knowledge and pricing that we provide, we also have the following industry affiliations for your peace of mind.

Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SATSA) is a member driven, non-profit organization that strives to provide the highest possible standards within the South African tourism industry.

SATSA stands for credibility, stability, integrity, and represents major players within the industry, including transport providers, tour operators, accommodation suppliers, brokers, adventure tourism providers, business tourism providers and tourism services providers.

SATSA Bonding

Should the member (Safari365) become financially insolvent prior to rendering the contracted service, the bond, which has an indemnity limit of R1.5 million, guarantees that deposits will be refunded, or the service replaced, to a maximum level of R300 000 per event or R75 000 per claim against the insolvent member.

This is an insurance bond underwritten by Lombard Insurance and certain underwriting syndicates at Lloyd's of London and is administered by SATSA, a section 21 company incorporated not for gain.

For your convenience we accept EFT payments / International Wire Transfers or Credit Card payments. When making a payment, all EFT/Wire Transfer bank charges are for clients own account, and Credit Card payments will incur a 3% surcharge.  We are able to accept Visa, MasterCard.

Tourism Conservation Fund

Safari365 are proud supporters of the Tourism Conservation Fund which is a non-profit company established by the Peace Parks Foundation and Southern Africa Tourism Services Association in May 2018.. The Tourism Conservation recognises the importance of preserving South Africa's wildlife and has the goal of protecting and promoting the biodiversity of South Africa's conservation areas.

The fund aims to do this by using the Inclusive Business Lineage Fund to build a more inclusive wildlife economy. By investing in communities adjacent to the conservation areas, many which have been historically excluded from economic development, the Tourism Conservation Fund will be able to create sustainable businesses and jobs which are rooted in the wildlife-tourism economy .

Safari365, in tandem with the TravelSmartCrew, regularly donate funds that directly support the Ginindsa Beauty College and Spa Initiative. The Tourism Conservation Fund share that, "Every cent of the donation will be used to finance the training stipends for young women from the Bushbuckridge community in Mpumalanga who lack the means to acquire certified training in Spa and Wellness management, for which there is a strong demand across the local lodge economy. Once employed, graduates will repay the cost of their stipend, thereby ensuring resources are available for new trainees each year."
